Michael Rinaldi & Co. LLP (MRCO) approaches new engagements with an open mind, tailoring solutions that are appropriate and timely. Ours is not the conventional approach with layers of staff, department personnel and marketing designed to capture a broad spectrum of clients and industries. Rather, we have made a conscious effort to control our practice areas, directing our time and efforts (“intellectual capital”) to those client relationships for which we are best suited. As our practice has been built solely on referrals, before establishing a new client relationship we determine whether we have the requisite capacity to maintain our commitments to efficiency and timeliness in the delivery of services to existing clients.
MRCO operates under a Practice Group structure where each group includes a team of one or more partners. The groups are organized around specific areas of practice, such as real estate/private equity funds, private client, international tax transactions, IRS controversy, corporate and ancillary services.
The MRCO model seeks to promote excellence in client service through this practice group approach. In many cases more than one partner will provide the skill and knowledge required to facilitate the client focused result. Efficiency of time and responsiveness are required to operate under this method, as multiple layers of staff attending to only parts of an engagement is not our methodology.
